WELCOME to the MCC ePortfolio Project
An ePortfolio provides students with an innovative way to document in-class and out-of-class learning and present their work to a wider audience. At Middlesex County College the Department of Instructional Design and Media Services and the Department of Counseling & Career Services have identified the need for student ePortfolios and has setup a pilot project as a first step that hopefully will lead the way to a full scale implementation of ePortfolios for a wider range of courses and students.
Working with the College's Web Manager an innovative ePortfolio template editing and management system is being developed. For the pilot project a career based ePortfolio template is being developed based on the five years of experience at the Title V ePortfolio Project at the New York City College of Technology and La Guardia Community College.
